    Intramural sports at Âé¶¹‚÷ýӳ®‹_Âé¶¹¾«Æ·‚÷ý_Âé¶¹‚÷ý¼¯ˆF(tu¨¢n)|Âé¶¹‚÷ý¹Ù·½ are a fun opportunity to be active and interact with other SLU students on campus.

    Students play basketball in a gymnasium.

    Intramural teams can represent SLU residence halls, fraternities, sororities and more.

    Costs and Registration

    Anyone wishing to sign up for intramural sports should download the Fusion Play app (available in the App Store of Google Play) and use your SLU campus credentials to view offered sports each session. 

    The cost to play is $15 per person each semester. Purchase intramural passes under "Memberships" on shopcampusrec.slu.edu before IM registration.

    Become an Intramural Official

    Campus Recreation and Wellness hires SLU students as officials for all games. No experience is necessary and all training will be provided. Interested students should complete an application on Handshake or contact [email protected] for more information.

    Club sports are another opportunity to participate in fun, competitive sports at SLU. Our clubs compete against colleges and universities across the nation.

    Clubs offer opportunities for people at all levels of athletic experience to develop valuable leadership skills. The level of competition varies between each club. Some clubs are intramural, which means they compete against other SLU students; others compete at the varsity level and travel across the country to national tournaments.

    Club sports operate under the direction of SLU¡¯s Department of Campus Recreation and Wellness, with assistance from the Student Involvement Center and Student Government Association. Each club must register with the SGA and the Department of Campus Recreation and Wellness.     Badminton

    The badminton club practices twice a week in the Simon Recreation Center and is open to all skill levels.

    Baseball

    Club baseball allows you to enjoy playing baseball at a competitive level. Tryouts are in the fall, with games taking place in the fall and spring.

    SLU¡¯s women¡¯s club basketball team competes and travels throughout the Midwest.

    Crew

    Founded in 2001, SLU¡¯s rowing club practices five days a week from August to November, and from March to May. The team competes in regattas throughout the South and Midwest.

    Cycling

    SLU¡¯s cycling clubs allow new and seasoned road cyclists to experience collegiate racing throughout the region in the Midwest Collegiate Cycling Conference.

    Equestrian

    Take part in weekly riding lessons and participate in horse-related service sites. SLU¡¯s equestrian club competes in Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association horse shows against other universities.

    Fencing

    SLU Fencing meets twice a week at the Simon Recreation Center. Beginner equipment is provided, and fencers of all levels are welcome.

    SLU Club Football supports men's and coed teams that compete regionally with other university club teams. All levels are welcome.

    Golf

    Part of the National Collegiate Club Golf Association, this club team allows you to play golf at a competitive level.

    Ice Hockey 

    SLU¡¯s ice hockey club is a Division II team in the American Collegiate Hockey Association and a member of the Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association. Each season, it plays 30 to 35 games against both conference and nonconference member universities.

    Kayak

    SLU¡¯s Kayak Club teaches and practices the fundamental skills of whitewater paddling. On the weekends, members travel to southern Missouri to paddle one of the Ozarks¡¯ pristine whitewater streams.

    Karate 

    Ever wanted to learn karate? Already a martial artist and need a place to work out? Check out the SLU Karate Club! Started in 1991, SLU Karate was formed to instruct students in self-defense while teaching the traditional Korean style of Tang Soo Do. Classes are 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday and Thursday, in the Simon Recreation Center (Multipurpose Room 1 on the lower level). No experience is necessary.

    Lacrosse (Men's)

    SLU¡¯s Division II club lacrosse team participates in the Great Rivers Lacrosse Conference of the Men¡¯s Collegiate Lacrosse Association.

    The club competes in fall and spring semesters and is part of the West Conference of Division II of the Women¡¯s Collegiate Lacrosse League.

    Pickleball

    Pickleball is a new club sport on campus open to SLU students of all skill levels.

    Rugby 

    Established in 1957, SLU Rugby is a member of the Gateway Collegiate Rugby Conference. It competes in the USA Rugby¡¯s Collegiate Division II.

    SLU¡¯s men¡¯s soccer club is open to undergraduates and graduates who want to play the sport at a highly competitive level. The team is part of the Kansas Missouri Soccer League.

    This club offers all students an opportunity to play competitive table tennis. Practices are held weekly, and regional collegiate tournaments are held twice a year.
